Motor Image Pilipinas Inc. (MIPI), the sole distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, paid a visit to Hospicio De San José, a welfare institution situated in Manila. The company’s executives brought along Subaru merchandise, including Subaru Safety Ambassador plush toys and stylish Subaru apparel, to spread joy among the beneficiaries. Transforming the premises into a mini-shopping mall, each resident had the opportunity to select their preferred plush toy and apparel item. Furthermore, Motor Image Pilipinas. presented a donation in the form of a cheque to the leadership of Hospicio De San José, aimed at supporting the educational needs of the young residents.
Located in the bustling City of Manila in the Philippines, Hospicio de San Jose stands as a respected welfare institution. Being the first social welfare agency in the country, it has served as a haven for orphans, abandoned individuals, those with special needs, and the elderly. Hospicio de San José has provided a loving and supportive home to those in need, providing support ever since it was first established in 1810.

Motor Image Pilipinas has visited Hospicio de San Jose before. Back in 2013, Subaru launched the Love Drive, aimed at providing a helping hand to individuals and animals who are in dire need. Through the Subaru Love Drive initiative, MIPI supported two beneficiaries with the help of Subaru owners, one of these beneficiaries was Hospicio de San Jose.
Fast forward to 2023, and Subaru is back to support the beloved institution. The monetary donation provided to Hospicio de San Jose was raised during the 2023 Manila International Auto Show. The crowd attending the Subaru x Russ Swift Rustle and Hustle stunt shows played a significant role in supporting this endeavor. In total, an impressive amount of P139,000 was raised, reflecting the collective contributions of the attendees. The entire proceeds from ticket sales were then presented during a modest ceremony, which also included an exclusive Subaru shopping spree.
