The long wait for the all-new Triton/Strada pickup continues to feel longer with Mitsubishi’s extensive teaser campaign for its new truck. Alongside the complete redesign of its exterior and interior, the company says that the ladder frame chassis, suspension, and diesel powertrain are all brand-new, built from the ground up. Up until now, we have been treated to a series of teaser images showcasing the forthcoming next-generation pickup truck. Additionally, Mitsubishi Ralliart has been actively testing camouflaged trucks in preparation for this year’s Asia Cross Country Rally (AXCR). We’ve got the overall picture of the Strada, as for specifics, however, it seems we will have to wait a bit more.

The Japanese automaker says the new truck will deliver enhanced safety, comfort, and performance across various weather conditions and road surfaces. The upcoming generation is set to bring notable advancements compared to its predecessor, which has been in existence since 2015 and received a substantial facelift in 2018. The “safe and secure driving experience” will be delivered by a new ladder frame chassis complemented by a new double-wishbone front suspension and a leaf spring rear, which are expected to deliver exceptional driving performance and ride comfort.
