Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has recently added another exciting subcompact vehicle to its electrified lineup, the All-New Toyota Yaris Cross. This new addition aims to contribute to Toyota’s commitment to carbon-neutral mobility by offering an attractive price point, making it their most affordable electrified vehicle yet.

During the nationwide launch on August 4, 2023, held in Taguig City and 72 Toyota dealerships, TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto expressed the company’s desire to bring the electrified lifestyle closer to more Filipinos. Toyota believes in a multi-pathway approach to achieve carbon neutrality, and one of those pathways is through the adoption of electrified vehicles.

The All-New Yaris Cross expands Toyota’s range of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), providing customers with more choices for easy and practical hybrid options. It comes with a stunning and modern design, advanced vehicle features, and life-enhancing technologies that cater to the needs of today’s drivers.

The vehicle’s exterior boasts a solid and dynamic design, with a trapezoid front grille, compact back door, geometric rear lights, and LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, and fog lamps. The HEV variant also offers a panoramic moonroof, adding to its premium styling.

Under the hood, the All-New Yaris Cross is powered by an in-line four-cylinder, 16-valve, dual VVT-i engine with CVT transmission. The interior design focuses on enhancing the riding experience, with features like a seven-inch TFT multi-information display, wireless charging dock, and panoramic view monitor. The HEV variant also comes with a six-speaker Pioneer system.
Safety is a priority, and depending on the variant, the vehicle is equipped with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) or active safety features like Electronic Brake Distribution (EBS), Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC).

The All-New Yaris Cross stands out as a halo model for its advanced technology, now made affordable to everyone. The HEV variant is even adorned with the HEV carbon neutrality badge, showcasing Toyota’s strong commitment to a carbon-neutral future.
The All-New Yaris Cross comes in three variants with different price points: 1.5 S HEV CVT at P 1,598,000, 1.5 V CVT at P1,296,000, and 1.5 G CVT at P1,199,000. Customers can choose from various colors and check out the crossover SUV at the Go Electrified with Toyota event at BGC or any until Sunday, August 6, 2023.
With the introduction of the All-New Yaris Cross, Toyota Motor Philippines aims to further advance its vision of sustainable and environmentally friendly mobility, offering customers an enticing package of style, technology, and affordability.
