When it comes to performance, the 2024 Caravan 50th Anniversary Edition offers two powertrain options. The first is a 2.0-liter QR20DE four-cylinder gasoline engine, producing a modest 128 hp and 178 Nm of torque. Alternatively, there’s a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.4-liter 4N16 turbo-diesel engine, churning out 130 hp and a robust 370 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission that allows for power to be sent either to the rear wheels or all four wheels, depending on the driver’s preference.
If you’re eager to get behind the wheel of this special edition Urvan, sales in Japan are set to kick off in October 2023 and will run until March 2024.
