Mazda Philippines is taking the award-winning Mazda3 to new heights in 2024 by enhancing its already captivating driving dynamics and refined design with a host of fresh comfort and connectivity features. These updates reflect Mazda’s unwavering commitment to embracing cutting-edge, human-centric technologies, aligning perfectly with their core philosophy of Jinba-Ittai, which celebrates the harmony between car and driver. Additionally, these improvements fortify the Mazda3’s position as the most comprehensively equipped car currently available on the market.

One of the standout enhancements for 2024 is the introduction of a more expansive Mazda Connect infotainment screen, expanding from eight to 10.25 inches. This upgrade promises crisper graphics and a more immersive user experience. The connectivity aspect has also been significantly bolstered with the inclusion of Wireless Apple CarPlay, dual USB-C ports, and a wireless charging feature. Interior aesthetics receive a touch of elegance with new chrome accents adorning the start/stop button ring, steering wheel horn pad, and glove box handle.

In the realm of aesthetics, the 18-inch alloy wheels get a refreshing makeover. The Mazda3 Sedan now sports a Bright Silver finish, while the Mazda3 Fastback flaunts a Black Metallic finish. Moreover, there is an array of seven captivating exterior colors to choose from: Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Platinum Quartz, Snowflake White Pearl, Polymetal Gray, Deep Crystal Blue, and Jet Black.
For the entry-level 2024 Mazda3 Sport, safety and visibility receive a substantial boost with the introduction of an Adaptive Front-Lighting System (AFS) complementing its LED headlights. LED daytime running lights and the adoption of the signature LED rear illumination enhance its exterior appeal. Furthermore, the Mazda3 Sport is now equipped with Blind Spot Monitoring along with Rear Cross Traffic Alert, fortifying its safety features.
Under the hood, the Mazda3 Sport boasts Mazda’s renowned 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine, churning out 153 hp and 200 Nm of torque. This powerplant is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, complete with paddle shifters, cruise control, and a Sport mode.
On a parallel track, the 2024 Mazda3 HEV elevates the standards of compact car safety with the addition of Front Cross Traffic Alert, Front Cross Brake Support, Rear Cross Brake Support, and the Driver Monitoring System, in addition to the existing 360-degree camera and parking sensors at all corners.
Powering the Mazda3 HEV is the innovative 2.0-liter e-Skyactiv-G engine, which is ingeniously coupled with a compact electric motor and lightweight lithium-ion battery. This fusion results in the Mazda M Hybrid system’s 24-volt Hybrid System, enhancing acceleration and fuel efficiency simultaneously.
As always, the 2024 Mazda3 is meticulously crafted in Japan and offers four distinct variants:
- Mazda3 2.0 Sport Sedan – P 1,510,000
- Mazda3 2.0 Sport Fastback – P 1,510,000
- Mazda3 2.0 HEV Sedan – P 1,790,000
- Mazda3 2.0 HEV Fastback – P 1,790,000
Yes, there’s still no turbo power available locally, but the Mazda3 still remains as one of the most gorgeous and fun-to-drive cars in its segment.
