The culmination of these initiatives was seen when Makati achieved distinction as the exclusive finalist, representing not only the country but also the Asia Pacific region, in the esteemed 2023 World Smart Cities Awards. While this is not Makati’s first time being recognized in this global competition that champions leadership and inventive concepts, the consistent acknowledgment only serves to further emphasize the progress they have made in realizing their vision.
