Custom VinFast VF 9 units
For Vietnam’s 80th anniversary of National Day, VinFast provided the country’s Ministry of Public Security with four examples of a custom-made open-top VF 9. According to the brand, the said vehicles demonstrate the flexibility of its production methods.

To build the ceremonial open-top VF 9, VinFast had to remove the roof, as well as multiple window pillars. It was likewise provided with a custom paint job, a redesigned grille, and heavy alterations to its interior and electrical system.
Apart from the open-top units, the brand also gave the Vietnamese Traffic Police a total of 12 custom VF 9 units colored in white. The aforementioned also had custom elements such as a new grille with horizontal bars and a redesigned hood. And of course, the patrol-spec rides were also given standard police equipment such as flag mounts, sirens, and additional lights.
