H2309006 POTG What If

In collaboration with SAIC Motor-CP, MG Thailand is kicking off a new period of automotive goodness as it celebrates a century of innovation. The carmaker has introduced a lifetime warranty for the high-voltage battery, electric drive unit, and power electronic block across several of its electric models. The offer includes popular models like the new MG4 electric, new MG Maxus 9, and new MG Maxus 7, as well as the sporty new MG Cyberster.

This lifetime warranty is not simply a one-time deal as it applies no matter how many miles are driven and continues even if the car is sold to a new owner, so it is made available to both new and existing MG customers. The goal of the said warranty is to ease worries about the long-term use of electric vehicles, which encourages more people to consider an EV for their next car purchase.

Pongsak Lertruedeewattanavong, Vice President of MG Sales in Thailand, commented that the warranty is made to keep MG’s function in the EV market, particularly as they move into their second decade of operations in Thailand.

“The announcement on the extended lifetime warranty for High-Voltage Battery, Electric Drive Unit, and Power Electronic Bloc is considered the company’s momentous movement in celebration of its 100th anniversary as the global brand that steps into the second decade of business operation in Thailand, the reflection of the “courage to act first” in order to set a new standard and boost customer confidence while also elevating Thailand’s automotive industry to the next level.”
