On the outside, the Caravan MyRoom looks like your run-of-the-mill van with its unassuming unpainted bodywork and steel wheels. The MyRoom is built on the Caravan’s long body, standard roof, and standard width variant, stretching 5,080 mm.

Blinds cover the windows, with curtains added for extra privacy. The second row of seats can be flipped to become a comfortable couch, complemented by a sliding and removable table. For sleeping arrangements, Nissan offers two options: a two-part folding bed or a simpler lift-up bed, both covered in herringbone fabric.
Powering the camper are portable battery packs from the Nissan Leaf, providing sufficient energy to run electronic devices through an AC 100V outlet. This means you can take the MyRoom out for long periods even when you’re off the grid.
Because the MyRoom is offered exclusively in Japan, Nissan offers two engine options for this van. The first is a 2.0-liter QR20DE gasoline engine producing 128 hp and 178 Nm of torque. The second is a Mitsubishi-sourced 2.4-liter 4N16 turbo-diesel engine, delivering 130 hp and 370 Nm of torque. Both engines are mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox driving the rear wheels with a 4WD system available exclusively for the diesel engine version.
