This rating is a part of a comprehensive safety performance assessment conducted for vehicles in the ASEAN region. Mitsubishi continues to focus on its safety philosophy, which aims for a future with zero traffic accidents by advancing and spreading safety technologies and knowledge about traffic safety.

Mitsubishi did it again and is on a roll, scoring another safety win with the XForce after the Triton’s success in last year’s ASEAN NCAP.

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that its new XForce compact SUV has received a five-star rating from the 2024 ASEAN NCAP. This rating is a part of a comprehensive safety performance assessment conducted for vehicles in the ASEAN region. Mitsubishi continues to focus on its safety philosophy, which aims for a future with zero traffic accidents by advancing and spreading safety technologies and knowledge about traffic safety.
Mitsubishi Motors has recently announced that the all-new XForce compact SUV has received the highest possible score in the 2024 ASEAN NCAP—a safety performance assessment conducted for new vehicles in the ASEAN region.
The XForce performed well across four important safety categories in the ASEAN NCAP’s 2021–2025 assessment protocol. It earned 34.89 points for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP), 17.03 points for Child Occupant Protection (COP), 14.85 points for Safety Assist (SA), and 12.39 points for Motorcyclist Safety (MS).
Standard safety features in the XForce include four airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and a Seatbelt Reminder System for both front and rear seats. Additionally, the SUV offers safety technologies such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) for city and inter-urban settings, Blind Spot Detection (BSD), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), and Automatic High Beam (AHB). These features are available as standard or optional equipment, depending on the variant, reinforcing Mitsubishi’s dedication to safety across its model range.
Following its initial launch in Indonesia, the XForce has been released in other ASEAN markets including Vietnam and the Philippines, and is also available in Latin America and Africa. Mitsubishi plans to continue the rollout to other regions including the Middle East and South Asia.
