The Philippine EV market is heating up with a wave of new options for consumers. Just recently, Aion Mobility, a subsidiary of GAC, introduced its latest models to the local market. Now, Vietnamese EV maker VinFast has made its move with the launch of the VF3, an affordable and attractive entry-level electric vehicle.

The VinFast VF3 is officially available in the Philippines and comes with competitive pricing. Buyers can choose between two pricing options: P745,000 with the battery included or P645,000 with a battery subscription. For a limited time, from September 19 to 30, customers can take advantage of an introductory price of P705,000 with the battery or P605,000 with a subscription. Paint customization is also available for an additional P40,000. Reservations can be made through the official website or authorized dealerships with a P5,000 deposit.

For those opting for the battery subscription, VinFast offers three monthly plans: P2,800 for up to 1,500km, P3,800 for 1,500km to 2,500km, and P6,300 for distances exceeding 2,500km per month. This allows customers to select the plan that best suits their driving needs, with the added benefit of VinFast handling battery maintenance and replacement if capacity falls below 70%.

In terms of specifications, the VF3 is powered by a 43hp (32kW) electric motor that delivers 110Nm of torque. Its 18.94kWh battery provides a range of up to 210km on a full charge, and with fast charging, the battery can be recharged from 10% to 70% in just 36 minutes. The mini SUV measures 3,190mm in length, 1,679mm in width, and 1,622mm in height, with a ground clearance of 191mm and a cargo capacity of 285 liters.
