If you’ve known the Silverado for a while, then you know that this is only a slight increase from the previous year, which started at approximately P2.17M. Compared to its rivals, the Silverado remains the lowest priced full-size truck, with the RAM 1500 currently priced at P4.9M, while the 2025 Toyota Tundra comes in at around P2.3M.
So what’s new for the 2025 Silverado? Although the changes are subtle, they carry some new updates. The color palette now includes Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue, giving buyers new exterior choices. There are also new 20-inch high-gloss black wheels available, adding a sleek look to the truck.
On the equipment side, Chevrolet has introduced additional features for various trims. The base Work Truck (WT) now comes with cruise control as standard, while higher trims such as the LT and above get a trailer brake controller for towing. For off-road lovers, the ZR2 trim now includes a premium audio system and front and rear park assist for added convenience.
When it comes to engine options, the 2025 Silverado offers a range of familiar choices. The base engine is a turbocharged 2.7-liter four-cylinder that produces 310 hp and 582 Nm of torque. For those who want more power, Chevrolet offers the 5.3-liter V8 that delivers 355 hp and 488 Nm of torque, or the 6.2-liter V8 with 420 hp and 576 Nm of torque. If you prefer diesel, there is also a 3.0-liter turbodiesel inline-six engine, which generates 305 hp and a strong 670 Nm of torque. For those looking for an affordable factory-lifted truck, the Silverado Custom Trail Boss is a great option. Starting at the equivalent of approximately P3.03M, it features a 2-inch lift and the Z71 suspension.
