VinFast, a rising star in the global electric vehicle (EV) market, is set to make a significant impact in the Philippines with the launch of its latest model, the VF7. The brand, originating from Vietnam, has rapidly gained recognition in the EV world, positioning itself as a challenger to established automotive giants in China, Europe, and North America.
At the 12th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS), which runs from October 24 to 26, 2024, VinFast officially launched the VF7, signaling its intent to play a leading role in the country’s electrification journey. The VF7, a sleek and versatile electric SUV, is targeted at young professionals and starter families who are looking for a stylish yet practical vehicle that aligns with their eco-conscious values. It is offered in both single and dual-motor configurations, delivering power outputs ranging from 177 PS to 354 PS, making it suitable for a wide range of driving needs. Additionally, the VF7 boasts a competitive range of up to 520 kilometers on a full charge, ensuring that it can handle both city commutes and longer road trips.
