In its press release, BAIC Philippines says it is proud to bring its rugged lineup of SUVs to the Bulacan market and car buyers in Central Luzon. This range includes the versatile X55 Verve Sport crossover, the rugged B40 Ragnar Diesel SUV, the spacious and efficient B60 Beaumont diesel hybrid full-size SUV, the premium B80 Wagon, and the cutting-edge B30e Dune Hybrid Off-roader.

The B30e is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, paired with electric motors—one for the 2WD version and two for the 4WD. This setup, known as the Smart Hybrid System, enables the BAIC B30e Dune 2WD to generate 324 hp and 550 Nm of torque. The more robust B30e Dune 4WD delivers an impressive 397 hp and 685 Nm of torque. Both models use a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT), with the B30e Dune 4WD achieving a zero to 100 km/h sprint in just 6.9 seconds.
