MIAS has served as a launchpad for global brands attempting to enter the Philippine market, providing a stage that enthusiasts and average car buyers can see. This year, an impressive roster of car brands—including Aito, BAIC, Bestune, BYD, Changan, Chery, Foton, GAC, GWM, Hyundai, Isuzu, Jaecoo, Jetour, Kia, Lotus, Lynk & Co., MINI, MG, Nissan, Omoda, Rox, Suzuki, Tesla, Vinfast, and Zeekr—will take center stage. Additionally, leading motorcycle brands such as Aprilia, Segway, Triumph, and Vespa, along with truck brands FAW, JAC, and Sinotruk, have chosen MIAS as their platform for showcasing innovation and performance.

Just to give you something to look forward to, we’ll mention a few cars that will hit the stage this MIAS 2025. Changan Philippines has confirmed its entry into the new energy vehicle (NEV) market, launching four electrified models at MIAS 2025. Inchcape Philippines, Changan’s exclusive distributor, announced the debut of the Nevo Q05 PHEV, Nevo Hunter K50 REEV, Lumin BEV, and Nevo A05 PHEV at the event, marking a key milestone in the brand’s local strategy. Yes, the Nevo Hunter K50 REEV is the pickup truck you’ve been waiting for.

MG made a big splash at last year’s MIAS with one of the largest booths, taking up a significant portion of the SMX venue. The brand showcased models like the MG 7, Mifa 9 EV, and RX9, though none have hit the market yet. Similarly, the MG HS PHEV was previewed at PIMS 2024 but has yet to launch. With MIAS 2025 just days away we’re hopeful these models will finally make their official debut.
