It usually takes longer to order coffee during rush hour, but now you can charge your EV even faster. ACMobility’s new chargers in Makati can power up your ride in just 15 minutes. ACMobility has rolled out its fastest electric vehicle (EV) chargers yet in Makati. Located at the Corinthians Carpark, the new charging station includes four 240 kW SuperFast chargers and one 480 kW UltraFast charger. These can charge compatible EVs in around 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the battery size and condition. Another charging site at the nearby Leviste Carpark will open soon.

This new site was built together with the Makati Commercial Estate Association (MACEA) and Ayala Land, Inc. (ALI). According to ACMobility, Makati was chosen because it’s a busy city with many homes, offices, and businesses, making it a good place for fast and easy EV charging. The station comes with nine charging slots using CCS2 connectors, including a special drive-through spot for larger EVs or minibuses. All of the chargers are connected to ACMobility’s EV app, Evro. With this app, users can find nearby chargers, start charging, check the status, and pay—all through their phones. The app also sends updates about promos, new locations, and system changes.

Charging costs ₱35 per kWh, but there are membership plans available that let users save up to 20%. On top of this, ACMobility has also introduced Power-on-Wheels (POW), a group of mobile charging trucks that can bring charging stations to areas with limited or no fixed chargers. These mobile units are now available in Makati, Taguig, and Mandaluyong, with more cities to follow, including Pasay, Quezon City, and Muntinlupa. As of now, Makati has the most active charging spots in the ACMobility network. There are 70 chargers spread across 16 locations, and this will go up to 100 chargers in 22 locations by the end of the year. Nationwide, ACMobility plans to build more than 700 charging points by the end of 2025.

Another key feature of the new Makati station is that all the power used there comes from renewable energy like solar, wind, and geothermal sources. This is made possible through a partnership with ACEN Renewable Energy Solutions (ACEN RES), part of the Ayala Group. The power comes through the Department of Energy’s Green Energy Option Program (GEOP), which helps the government move toward its goal of using 35% renewable energy by 2030.

This launch is also part of a bigger project called the “Philippine EV Spine.” ACMobility wants to build a wide network of fast-charging stations across the country to make driving an EV easier for more people. As of May 2025, there are already more than 90 charging sites, with over 30 more expected to open by June. These stations are found in malls, condos, offices, and public places, helping connect different parts of the country.
