A day before we celebrated the independence of the Philippines, Ford Philippines announced that it’s launching the Mustang Mach-E in the third quarter of 2025, essentially kicking off its electrification journey in the country.

The Mustang Mach-E is Ford’s first electric vehicle (EV) built from the ground up, and as a vehicle, it combines performance, driving range, and modern technology. The press release Ford provided was brief and did not go into full detail regarding the Mach-E’s specs. However, thanks to LTO homologation documents, we do know that there will be two variants of the Mach-E entering the country.
If we assume that Ford will only offer extended-range versions of the Mach-E, it might bring in the rear-wheel-drive Mustang Mach-E Premium, which boasts 290 hp, 430 Nm of torque, and most importantly, up to 600 km of driving range. The next variant would be the range-topping Mach-E GT, which features all-wheel drive, 480 hp, and a tire-crunching 813 Nm of torque. Its driving range maxes out at 500 km, but hey, that’s the tradeoff for all that power.

“It is only fitting that we take our big leap in our electrification journey with an iconic Ford vehicle. The arrival of the Mach-E reinforces Ford as a credible and must-watch player in the electric vehicle (EV) segment in the country. With a continuously growing community of Mustang owners in the Philippines, the Mustang Mach-E will surely give enthusiasts an electrified experience like no other.”
