It looks like the Ford Territory is marking new “territory” with a cleaner, smoother look. A refreshed version has just been revealed abroad, and since it’s based on the same model sold in the Philippines, we might be next in line for this update.

The refreshed Ford Territory was recently launched in Brazil, and while it still uses the same Chinese-built Equator Sport base, it now comes with a few noticeable changes. Gone is the old split-type headlight design, and it has now been replaced with a single LED headlight unit paired with a new grille design and updated bumpers. The front and rear both have body-colored inserts that give the SUV a more polished look.
Depending on the variant, exterior features include roof bars (black on SEL, Satin Gray on Titanium), a shark fin antenna, body-color door handles and mirrors with turn signals, and a new set of wheels, 18-inch alloys for SEL and 19-inch wheels with chrome accents for Titanium. The Titanium also adds power mirrors with puddle lamps and chrome door handles for a more upscale appearance.
Inside, both trims get new micro-perforated leather seats and a 12-inch infotainment screen, while the SEL comes with a 7-inch digital gauge cluster and the Titanium gets a larger 12-inch version. The Titanium also has extra comforts like a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front seats, a 10-way power driver’s seat, dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and a panoramic sunroof.

Under the hood is a 1.8-liter EcoBoost engine that makes 185 hp and 320 Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the front wheels. Color options include Mercury Gray, Oxford White, Panther Black, and two new shades—Deep Blue and Cactus Gray. Pricing in Argentina starts at $36,040, which is around P2.1M for the SEL and $42,004, approximately P2.5M for the Titanium.
The updated Ford Territory is expected to hit showrooms in Brazil by July. And since the Philippine version also uses the same base model, there’s a good chance this refreshed version could arrive locally sometime later this year.
