Hyundai Motor Company’s high-performance N brand secured its fifth consecutive TCR class victory at the 24h Nürburgring, marking its 10th straight appearance at the legendary endurance race. The annual 24-hour challenge, known as the “Green Hell,” remains a premier stage for showcasing Hyundai’s engineering excellence and motorsport capabilities.
In this year’s race, held June 21 to 22 in Nürburg, Germany, Hyundai N entered two Elantra N TCR cars in the TCR class and introduced the new Elantra N1 Cup car in the SP3T class. Both Elantra N TCR cars completed one of the world’s most demanding endurance tests.

The North American squad, featuring Bryson Morris, Michael Louis, Mason Filippi, and Robert Wickens, also delivered a standout performance in ELANTRA N #2, securing a hard-fought second-place finish.

Robert Wickens’ return to racing was a major highlight. After taking a break in 2024, the paraplegic Canadian driver made a powerful comeback, competing with a custom hand-control system. His performance was a testament to elite skill, perseverance, and Hyundai’s core belief that motorsport should be accessible to anyone with the passion to pursue it, as well as unbelievable amounts of grit.
Hyundai also made its debut in the SP3T class with the Elantra N1 Cup car. Unfortunately, the car was forced to retire after 17 hours due to a rear-end collision with another competitor.
Beyond the track, Hyundai collaborated with Toyota to host a joint booth at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours, highlighting how motorsport can unite rather than divide. Together, the two brands showcased their shared commitment to performance and innovation to a global fan base. This partnership builds on the spirit of camaraderie first established at the “Hyundai N x Toyota Gazoo Racing Festival” held at Korea’s Yongin Speedway in October 2024 and reaffirmed during the final round of the 2024 World Rally Championship (WRC) in Japan, which both companies attended.
