MG Motor Philippines has officially pulled the covers off the second-generation MG ZS. Reimagined from the ground up, the new MG ZS boasts a sleeker design, smarter tech, and a range of future-ready features that make it the most advanced version yet of MG’s top-performing crossover.

Related: MG 4 now looks bigger and simpler than before

In terms of looks, the new ZS carries MG’s latest global design identity, complete with sharp “Connected Hunter Eyes” LED headlamps, a striking front fascia, and flowing lines that give the crossover a sportier, more commanding presence. Now longer, wider, and sitting on a longer wheelbase, the new ZS doesn’t just look bigger, because it is bigger, offering more space inside and out than the model it replaces.

Speaking of space, the cabin of the ZS has grown where it matters. Rear passengers will appreciate the noticeable boost in roominess, with more head, elbow, and legroom for a more comfortable ride. Visibility’s also been improved, making the ZS easier to live with day to day.

Tech-wise, the new ZS steps it up in a big way. Across the lineup, you’ll find premium features that punch well above their price points, like large infotainment screens, advanced safety systems, and disc brakes on all four wheels. Higher-end variants offer even more: leather upholstery, power-adjust seats, a sunroof, and intelligent driver aids.

The MG ZS is available in four variants with three different powertrains for each. First up is the ZS Hybrid+, the crown jewel of the lineup. It combines a 1.5-liter engine with a 1.83 kWh battery and a 100 kW electric motor to produce a punchy 194 hp.

All-new MG ZS

MG Motor Philippines has officially pulled the covers off the second-generation MG ZS. Reimagined from the ground up, the new MG ZS boasts a sleeker design, smarter tech, and a range of future-ready features that make it the most advanced version yet of MG’s top-performing crossover.

MG ZS 1

This variant also features MG PILOT, giving drivers access to Adaptive Cruise Control, Emergency Braking with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection, Lane Keep Assist, and more. Inside, tech features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen, electric seats with lumbar support, a panoramic sunroof, and sleek 18-inch wheels.

Then there’s the ZS Sport, aimed at drivers who want more pep in the ride. With a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine pushing out 167 hp and 275 Nm of torque mated to a CVT 280 transmission designed to deliver a driving feel similar to that of a traditional seven to nine speed automatic or DCT.

MG ZS Lux

In the middle of the range sits the ZS Luxury. This variant is powered by a naturally aspirated engine paired with a CVT180 transmission, optimized for smooth, fuel-efficient drives. The ZS Luxury gets leather seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a seven-inch TFT digital gauge cluster, rear AC vents, and a full suite of safety features, including side airbags and a reverse camera.

Finally, the ZS Comfort is the value-packed option in the range It carries the same engine and transmission as the Luxury variant and packs in essentials like a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, hill start assist, a reverse camera, and dual airbags, plus a versatile 60:40 split-folding rear seat setup.

The all-new MG ZS officially arrives at dealerships across the Philippines starting July 3, 2025. And if you’re thinking about buying, MG’s got early birds covered with introductory prices that run until August 31, 2025.

Here’s how the pricing breaks down:

  • ZS Hybrid+: P1,328,888 (Intro price: P1,248,888)
