Starting with the E-QM5 Plus, this model is a sleek, battery-electric mid-size sedan that maintains a modern and understated design compared to Hongqi’s more flamboyant nameplates. At the front, thin daytime running lights accentuate the bumper’s curves, while the primary headlights sit lower for a balanced look. At the rear, boomerang-shaped LED taillights and sculpted lines complete the sophisticated silhouette.
Under the hood, it is powered by a 140 kW electric motor producing 187 hp and 136 Nm of torque, driving the front wheels via a single-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to a 54 kWh battery, the upgraded E-QM5 Plus now offers an impressive single-charge driving range of 560 km, a significant jump from the previous 430 km. The Plus model also adds vented seats and cruise control for enhanced comfort.
On the other hand, we’ve got the E-HS9, Hongqi’s full-size electric SUV, which embodies luxury and commanding road presence. Measuring 5,209 mm long, 2,010 mm wide, and 1,731 mm tall, the E-HS9 features a broad, upright grille with vertical chrome slats, slim sweeping DRLs, and futuristic stacked headlights. Its new 22-inch alloy wheels amplify its dominant stance, while a premium BOSE audio system with 16 speakers provides a truly immersive in-car experience. Powered by a dual-motor setup delivering 544 hp and 750 Nm of torque to all four wheels, the upgraded E-HS9 now achieves a single-charge driving range of up to 515 km with the 120 kWh battery option, improving on the previous 440 km range.
