Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) recently received the Blood Services Platinum Award from the Philippine Red Cross, recognizing the company’s strong support for voluntary blood donation and its consistent efforts in organizing mobile blood drives.

Over the last five years, MMPC has collected 896 units of blood, with 207 bags donated in 2024 alone. To put it into perspective, that’s around 93 liters of blood that could help save countless lives. For this achievement, the Red Cross Laguna Chapter also gave MMPC a platinum recognition during the Philippine Red Cross Blood Donation Recognition and Awarding Ceremony held at the Santa Rosa City Auditorium.

The event, themed “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives,” honored both companies and individuals who go the extra mile in supporting the Red Cross mission. MMPC’s contribution stood out as one of the highest in its category, a testament to how Mitsubishi deeply values health, safety, and community service.

During the event, recognition went not only to MMPC but also to MMPC employees Kevin Reglos, Joselle Memije, Gerardo Yamsuan, and former employee Dominador Advincula, Jr. were also commended for their personal dedication—each of them has donated more than a gallon of blood.

The Philippine Red Cross continues to encourage Filipinos to donate blood voluntarily, providing a lifeline for thousands of patients in need. By staying actively involved, MMPC shows that corporate social responsibility isn’t just about programs, it’s about real people making a real difference in their communities. If you’d like to help your community in the same way, consider donating blood through the Philippine Red Cross or at your local hospitals and health centers during upcoming blood drives.
