The OMODA 5 EV will also come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto. Each passenger will have the convenience of a one-touch auto function for all the windows, while the driver will have additional features like remote start, keyless entry, and remote control for the air conditioning—all accessible with a simple button press on the keyfob. Powering the OMODA 5 EV will be a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with a liquid-cooled system, delivering an estimated power output of 150kW and around 400 Nm of torque. When fully charged, the vehicle will have a range of 300 to 450 kilometers. The car will come with an AC/DC charging module and a portable 220v charger.

Lastly, the OMODA 5 EV has achieved an impressive five-star rating in its most recent EURO-NCAP test, highlighting the brand’s commitment to safety. Combined with its numerous active and passive safety features, the OMODA 5 EV provides its users with complete peace of mind.

The pricing for the OMODA 5 EV is yet to be announced but is expected to be highly competitive due to the government’s tax exemption program for Electric Vehicles. Additionally, the OMODA 5 EV will be exempt from the number coding scheme, thanks to the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA) under Republic Act 11697. The OMODA 5 EV is scheduled to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year, coinciding with the launch of the OMODA and JAECOO brands.
