H0210004 Saksi ang langit Episod part2

A few months back, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) gave us a preview of the next-generation Triton/Strada pickup by presenting a near-production XRT Concept with all the off-roading bells and whistles. The concept truck was fitted with off-road tires, camouflage, and other extra accessories, making it hard to imagine what the production version would look like. Luckily, we won’t have to wait too long to see the new truck as Mitsubishi is set to debut the next-gen Triton in Thailand on the 26th of July this year. Building up to its global premiere, Mitsubishi has embarked on an intriguing teaser campaign, providing surprisingly revealing sneak peeks.

In the video, we can see the resemblance to the XRT is evident, as the upcoming Triton model leans more towards a near-production prototype rather than a concept. Mitsubishi proudly claims that the pickup truck has undergone a thorough redesign, embracing the design concept of “Beast Mode.” In addition, the teasers reveal an innovative interpretation of the split headlight arrangement, featuring a distinctive three-point design. Additionally, the vehicle showcases roof rails and a new taillight design.

At the midpoint of the video, a sneak peek is provided of the dashboard in the all-new Triton Strada. The design features a boxy layout featuring a tablet-style infotainment screen and a rotary dial for selecting the truck’s drive modes meaning, unlike other manufacturers, Mitsubishi is not integrating all of its controls into its central head unit. The dashboard showcases a combination of black and silver accents, though admittedly, it might just be because of the lighting of the video.

While concrete technical specifications are still unknown, there is speculation that the upcoming Triton will share mechanical underpinnings with the next-generation Nissan Navara. In addition, as we’ve mentioned in our previous report on the XRT Concept, Mitsubishi might provide bespoke gear and accessories for the new Triton in the future.
