H0110003 Nanay na Bugaw Tutol sa Beking Karelasyon ng Anak part2

Love for the compact Toyota Vios is not exclusive to the Philippines as the affordable sedan is also a hit over in Vietnam. The Vios has carved itself a solid piece of the market in Vietnam, and Toyota, who is keen on keeping the Vios competitive, introduced a facelift for the XP150 Vios for Vietnam.

Before you say: “Hold on, XP150?”, we’re here to confirm now that the 4th generation Vios built on the Daihatsu New Global Architecture is still unavailable in Vietnam. So if you’ve been eagerly awaiting news about the AC100 fourth-gen Vios, this isn’t news. However, we still advise you to read on since Vietnam is an ASEAN country and what cars they get there might dictate what will be sold in the Philippines.

With that said, let’s take a look at what’s new with this facelifted Vios. Starting with the exterior, the redesigned XP150 features a sleek new grille, a new rear bumper, and freshly crafted six-spoke wheels with a milled finish. Furthermore, LED projector headlamps are now a standard feature in this model.

Starting with the exterior, the redesigned XP150 features a sleek new grille, a new rear bumper, and freshly crafted six-spoke wheels with a milled finish. Furthermore, LED projector headlamps are now a standard feature in this model.

XP150 Vios facelift Interior

Moving to the interior, more signs of Toyota’s revitalization program for the XP150 become apparent. The new interior now boasts a nine-inch floating infotainment screen equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, while rear passengers are also treated to two extra charging ports. Buyers of the G variant Vios will also get paddle shifters situated behind the steering wheel.

In terms of safety, the latest update equips the G variant with Toyota Safety Sense, these  include Pre-Collision Warning (PCS), Lane Departure Alert (LDA), and a total of seven airbags which are exclusive in the G version.

Powertrain specifications remain unchanged from the current Vios. The vehicle continues to be driven by a 1.5-liter engine that delivers 106 hp and 140 Nm of torque. The 1.5-liter engine remains to be the sole engine option for the Vios in Vietnam since they don’t offer the smaller 1.3-liter mill we’ve got over here. Lastly, for gearbox options, customers can choose between a five-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
