The new Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid has made its debut in the Philippines, serving as a testament to Bentley Motors’ unwavering commitment to becoming an end-to-end carbon-neutral company and the world’s leading provider of sustainable luxury mobility. This introduction is a significant milestone for Bentley as it propels them towards their goal of offering hybrid options across their entire model range by 2024, followed by the release of their first Bentley Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) in 2025. By 2026, Bentley plans to produce plug-in hybrid and BEV models exclusively, ultimately achieving an entirely BEV-only model portfolio by 2030.

“The new Flying Spur Hybrid ushers in Bentley’s electrified lineup in the Philippines. This model arrives immediately supported by the infrastructure, technical expertise, and strategic alliances which PGA Cars, the official and exclusive partner of Bentley in the Philippines, has invested in and established in the past few years.”

Bentley Flying Spur Hybrid Charger

The new Flying Spur Hybrid is equipped with a powertrain that combines a 2.9-liter V6 gasoline engine with Bentley’s advanced E-motor, resulting in a remarkable output of 544 hp and 750 Nm of torque. The E-motor is powered by an 18 kWh lithium-ion battery, which not only provides energy to the electric motor but can also supplement the existing 12-volt electrical infrastructure of the vehicle. This combination of power and efficiency allows the new Flying Spur Hybrid to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, rivaling the performance of the Flying Spur V8. The fuel consumption of the vehicle is significantly reduced while still maintaining the unmistakable Bentley character of effortless performance.

The seamless integration of the internal combustion engine and the electric motor ensures that luxury and performance are not compromised by hybridization. The result is a refined and serene driving experience, regardless of the chosen driving mode or style. In fact, the new Flying Spur Hybrid sets a new benchmark for Bentley in terms of efficiency, boasting a range of over 700 km with one tank of gas.

Stepping inside the Flying Spur Hybrid reveals Bentley’s expertise in creating a modern and luxurious cabin with innovative features. Customers have the option to personalize their interior with a wide range of leather colors, veneers, stitching, and emblems, paying homage to the original Flying Spur from the 1950s. The exterior design of the Flying Spur Hybrid is defined by elegant lines, dynamic contours, and Bentley’s iconic matrix grille, complemented by distinctive LED headlamps and 21-inch alloy wheels.

Advanced technology is also incorporated into the Flying Spur Hybrid, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10-speaker audio system. The vehicle is equipped with a range of safety features, such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and automatic emergency braking, ensuring both comfort and peace of mind for the driver and passengers.
