More than two years have passed since MG surprised many with the introduction of the Cyberster concept. While the production model was partially revealed a few months ago at Auto Shanghai 2023, the SAIC-owned brand has only recently provided a glimpse of the electric roadster’s interior. As expected, the cabin has undergone significant changes compared to the show-stopping concept, which boasted a more extravagant exterior design.
The 2024 MG Cyberster follows the trend of incorporating a curved screen by integrating the digital instrument cluster with the infotainment touchscreen. The gear selector buttons are prominently placed to the left of what appears to be a vertically-oriented display. Noteworthy features include three keys for accessing the butterfly doors and folding roof, as well as a pair of cup holders. The concept’s unique yoke-style steering wheel has been replaced with a flat-bottomed wheel adorned with aluminum spokes and paddle shifters. A red “Super” button is present, presumably allowing the driver to activate the sportiest settings. Another button shows a steering wheel, likely serving as a means to select different driving modes.

More than two years have passed since MG surprised many with the introduction of the Cyberster concept. A red “Super” button is present, presumably allowing the driver to activate the sportiest settings. Another button shows a steering wheel, likely serving as a means to select different driving modes.

To the left of the steering wheel, the electric parking brake switch is positioned. In the same vicinity, the driver can adjust the headlight height and open the hood. Overall, the cabin exudes an air of luxury, evoking the ambiance of a grand tourer rather than a pure sports car. Leather with color-coordinated stitching seems to be prevalent throughout, and the presence of electrically adjustable seats adds to the comfort and convenience.
According to reports, the MG Cyberster will be available in multiple variants. These are rumored to include a single-motor configuration delivering around 201 horsepower, a dual-motor setup producing approximately 335 horsepower, and a range-topping model with a powerful 544-horsepower output.
More detailed technical specifications are expected to be released by MG later this week during the world premiere of the Cyberster at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
