Beside it was the Hyundai IONIQ 5, doing the same thing as its longer brother. The two vehicles are undoubtedly compatible with the chargers, however, Hyundai has stated that its partnership with SM is set to include other marques and their electric vehicles as well.
The chargers are located on the third floor of the North Parking building. The parking slots are reserved exclusively for EVs to park and charge, and owners can take advantage of this for free.

Wallbox provides the chargers for the stations, and the Pulsar Plus home EV chargers are on full display, and feature 7.4 kW, 11 kW, or 22 kW of charge depending on the vehicle and depending on the plug. These chargers are compatible with either Type 1 or Type 2 chargers for EVs, allowing them to fit a wide range of models, and Type 2 chargers get either 11 kW or 22 kW of charging while Type 1 chargers get up to 7.4 kW max.
What this means is that visitors heading to the SM Mall of Asia, need not worry so much about their range, as the chargers will allow for mall-goers to top up their batteries while they enjoy the mall’s facilities. Hyundai states that for about two hours in the mall. The IONIQ 6 and IONIQ 5 both feature up to 11 kW AC charging, which will top up the battery fully in about eight hours. Given the capabilities of the wall chargers, we can expect decently fast charging that’ll help eliminate that dreaded range anxiety.
