Regarding the Sportage 30th Edition, it draws its inspiration from the Gravity variant in South Korea. However, distinct glossy black accents have been elegantly incorporated into the design. These accents adorn the roof rails, side mirror caps, and door garnish, adding a touch of sophistication to the vehicle’s appearance. The front grille and portions of the bumpers also sport a darker aesthetic, perfectly complementing the overall look. To complete the package, the 18 and 19-inch wheels available for this special edition also feature a dark theme. If Kia had to change the name of this version for whatever reason, they could pass it off as “Black Edition” Sportage if they really wanted.
Inside the special edition Sportage, Kia has fitted with an unusual but nonetheless special, green and black color combo. The seats are stitched with a different quilting pattern along with suede inserts. To set itself apart from the regular Sportage, the headrests are embroidered with a unique logo.
As for power, the 2024 Sportage is offered with four engine options: a 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine with 178 hp, a 1.6-liter hybrid variant with 227 hp, a 2.0-liter naturally-aspirated engine fueled by LPG generating 144 hp, and finally a 2.0-liter diesel engine that pumps out 183 hp.
The Kia Sportage is no longer available here in the Philippines, but, there is always a possibility that Kia Philippines brings the 2024 Sportage to the country. We’ll update you if news comes out about a possible Philippine launch in the future.
