During the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), Geely Philippines offered a sneak peek of their latest creation, the GX3 Pro subcompact crossover SUV. Now, the official launch is imminent, with Geely’s distributor, Sojitz G Auto Philippines (SGAP), all set to unveil the GX3 Pro on August 8, 2023.
Positioned as the brand’s entry-level and most affordable crossover, the GX3 Pro boasts an appealing blend of stylish aesthetics, a comfortable and technologically advanced cabin, and an efficient 1.5-liter powertrain.
Visually, the GX3 Pro retains the eye-catching design that was initially showcased in April. The front fascia features striking headlights and a distinctive grille with chrome accents. At the back, a diffuser on the rear bumper and LED taillights complement the overall appearance, while 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels complete the look.
Inside the GX3 Pro, keen observers may recognize the cabin design from the Emgrand model, as Geely integrated it into their latest crossover. As a result, the interior is elegantly designed, equipped with numerous amenities and features.
The cabin offers a two-tier dashboard, a power sunroof, and a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system featuring Bluetooth and CarbitLink. The seats are wrapped in leather, and the steering wheel is also leather-wrapped with a D-cut design. To enhance convenience, the GX3 Pro comes with cruise control, a reverse camera with dynamic guide lines, and traction/stability control. Safety is not compromised, as dual front airbags, automatic headlights, ABS with EBD, stability control, a rear camera, and tire pressure monitoring are all standard.
