This updated version boasts an array of enhancements in both performance and design, adding a fresh dimension to Toyota’s lineup.
The 2024 Toyota Hilux GR-S exhibits a more robust and rugged appearance compared to its pre-refresh counterpart. The changes are evident with a larger front grille featuring the classic and unmistakable “TOYOTA” lettering, more angular bumpers, expanded over-fenders, and a robust metal front skid plate. To enhance its off-road prowess, Toyota has equipped it with 17-inch Dakar-inspired alloy wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. Yes, its design is similar to the actual Dakar Hilux used in the competition.
The suspension system has also received a beefy upgrade, incorporating KYB monotube shock absorbers. These shock absorbers bring stiffer coils, precise dampening, and efficient heat dissipation to the mix, ultimately contributing to improved handling and ride comfort.
