H2709001 Pamangkin Nabiktima ng part2

One of the biggest events for automotive enthusiasts is happening from January 12 to 14, 2024. Nissan is bringing a bunch of concepts to gauge interest and to catch the shutters of interested journalists and event-goers early next year.

There are a bunch of things that we can look forward to at Nissan’s showcase at the Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS 2024). The event will take place at Makuhari Messe from January 12 to 14 next year, and its booth with not only have the Nissan stuff on display, but it will also prominently feature its tuning brand NISMO.

Aside from the consumer-grade concepts, an actual race car will be showcased at the show in the form of Nissan’s e4ORCE 04 Formula E racecar. It’s a third-generation machine that was unveiled in December 2022, and it is also the same car that will be slated to race in March 2024  at the Formula E Championship.

Nissan Tokyo Auto Salon 2024

One of the biggest events for automotive enthusiasts is happening from January 12 to 14, 2024. Nissan is bringing a bunch of concepts to gauge interest and to catch the shutters of interested journalists and event-goers early next year.

There are a bunch of things that we can look forward to at Nissan’s showcase at the Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS 2024). The event will take place at Makuhari Messe from January 12 to 14 next year, and its booth with not only have the Nissan stuff on display, but it will also prominently feature its tuning brand NISMO.

Nissan Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 Formula E

Aside from the consumer-grade concepts, an actual race car will be showcased at the show in the form of Nissan’s e4ORCE 04 Formula E racecar. It’s a third-generation machine that was unveiled in December 2022, and it is also the same car that will be slated to race in March 2024  at the Formula E Championship.

We’re also excited about the X-Trails that will be showcased at the show. Nissan Philippines Inc. (NPI) has been teasing us about a new e-POWER model for 2024, and our best guess is placed on the X-Trail nameplate. The compact crossover will have two concepts on display at the show, and in keeping with the theme, both will be modified.

Nissan Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 X-Trail Crawler Concept

The first X-Trail is the Crawler Concept, which will feature off-road goodies and be fit for a world of dirt like rock-crawling, terrain conquering, and a bunch of utilitarian enhancements.

Nissan Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 X-Trail Autech

Next up is the X-Trail Autech Sports Spec Concept, which will be showcased alongside the Serena Autech Sports Spec Concept. For those of you who like style for their everyday rides, Autech will showcase some solid aftermarket customization options with the X-Trail and the Serena. The aftermarket brand is known for its products for Nissan vehicles, and we’re happy to see the brand take to these two platforms. These concepts extend the styling of the two models, delivering a sporty and luxurious look for the two.

Nissan Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 Serena Autech

Apart from what we think are the most exciting features that’ll populate the Nissan booth this year, the other displays will include the Disaster Support Mobile Hub based on the Caravan and customized to act as a disaster support hub. It even comes with a portable battery that was lifted from the Nissan LEAF.

We can also expect a Nissan Roox customized by Beams. A kei car with a big redesign, and Nissan will also display the March Customized Concept which employs wood and a lot of quirk since it’s been patterned after the life of a pastry chef.

Last but not least will be the trio of Nissan NISMO vehicles which include the GT-R NISMO, the recently-launched Fairlady Z NISMO, and the Skyline NISMO which is only available in Japan.

While a ticket to the show is on our holiday wishlists for now, we’re looking forward to seeing all the high-quality photos from Nissan and the other outlets once covers and sheets get pulled off in January.

Frankly, we’re quite excited about the X-Trail and the NISMO models. Apart from the Serena, those are the displays that’ll make the most sense to bring into the Philippines on way or another. Nissan is bringing a lot of goods next year, and we’re excited to see what’ll translate to local availability.
