H2609005 Galit part2

First unveiled to the world as the XFC concept at the 2022 Vietnam Motor Show, the Mitsubishi XForce is the Japanese automaker’s latest subcompact crossover in its stable. Since it was unveiled, the XForce has since been launched in Indonesia and Vietnam. The question running through our minds while all this was happening was when and if the XForce would come to the Philippines. Luckily for us, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has given us an answer.

At a recent media gathering, MMPC announced a forthcoming series of new models following the debut of the all-new Triton. Among them is the XForce, and MMPC has officially confirmed its arrival in June 2024, about four months from now. Now that we know when it will launch, how about the pricing? Well, for that, we’ll have to wait a bit later as MMPC did not provide a specific price or price range for the XForce. However, Mitsubishi has mentioned that the XForce will be “affordable and will take on crossovers like the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Creta, GAC GS3 Emzoom, and the quite popular Geely Coolray.

Mitsubishi XForce

As a refresher, The XForce is propelled by the very familiar Mitsubishi 4A91 engine, a 1.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine, and also a  powerplant previously featured in models such as the Xpander and Xpander Cross. Generating 103 hp and 141 Nm of torque, this engine transfers power through the front wheels via a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT).

Mitsubishi XForce Golden Winner Award

Other details you should note are that the XForce features a ground clearance of 222 mm, complemented by notable approach and departure angles of 21 and 30.5 degrees, respectively. Mitsubishi also says that the XForce has a tight turning circle of 10.4 meters making it an agile car to use in cities and tight areas. We already know that the XForce is quite a handsome car, so taking into account all these features, Mitsubishi’s compact crossover might be a popular car once it officially launches.

Mitsubishi XForce Launch Date

It’s a ways away before the XForce officially launches in the Philippines, but, you can check out Mitsubishi’s extensive lineup in the country on AutoDeal.com.ph. Come check it out and start your car-buying journey with us.
