“We are truly honored to receive one of the most distinguished design awards in the world for the two All-New models we launched this fiscal year. I believe each model was recognized for expressing its own character in a unique form – the Triton shows a daring expression, and the Xforce adopts an agile look – while also combining robustness, which is typical of Mitsubishi Motors’ design. The Triton has a bold and rugged aesthetic that makes it stand out in the pickup truck segment. It’s a large pickup truck, and follows the Forte model introduced in 1978. Since then, around 5.7 million Tritons have been made and sold in about 150 countries worldwide. The vehicle’s design consists of rugged features you’d come to expect from a rugged pickup. Inside, it has an easy-to-read instrument panel and controls that can be used while wearing gloves.
Meanwhile, the Xforce, a smaller SUV, offers a ton of space inside and is designed for maximum comfort and practicality. Inside, there is a modern touch with a big display panel that includes a large screen for the audio system and another for the driver’s information.
So, who said Mitsubishi cars are only for rugged rides? iF DESIGN AWARD says they’re also pleasing to the eye. If you are thinking of driving home a good-looking vehicle, you might want to check out the current lineup of Mitsubishi and get a quote for the car of your dreams.
