Hyundai Elantra N

As we all know, the N Brand is Hyundai’s division of high-performance cars where they tune their road cars into high-performance track weapons. The main star of the N Brand’s debut in the country is the refreshed Hyundai Elantra N. The current Elantra carries an updated front fascia, a revised taillight design, and stylish 19-inch wheels.

Aside from its looks, the Elantra N is hiding a powerful engine under the hood. This midsize sedan houses a 2.0-liter, turbocharged inline-four engine, delivering 276 hp and 392 Nm of torque to the front wheels. While HMPH has yet to disclose transmission options, in other markets, the Elantra N is offered with either an eight-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. In terms of performance, the manual Elantra N can go from zero to 100 in 5.8 seconds while the automatic Elantra N can do the sprint in 5.3 seconds. If you keep your foot pinned to the floor, the Elantra N can reach a top speed of 250 km/h.

Elantra N TCR

Alongside the introduction of the Elantra N, HMPH will feature its racing counterpart, the Elantra N TCR, the 2023 winner of the TCR World Tour Drivers’ Championship. Both Elantras will take center stage at the Hyundai booth in the WTC venue of MIAS 2024, where HMPH’s entire local lineup of SUVs and MPVs will also be showcased.

The 2024 Manila International Auto Show is scheduled to take place from April 4 to 7 at the World Trade Center Manila and SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
