H2409001 AMONG MANYÀKIS MAY MASÀMANG BALÀK SA BATA part2

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has had a standout year, achieving its highest annual sales volume yet, with 81,743 vehicles sold from April 2023 to March 2024. The figures represent quite a noticeable growth of 34% compared to the previous year, where 60,630 units were sold, and secures MMPC an 18.5% share of the market.

The surge in sales was driven by MMPC’s core models: the Mirage, Xpander, and L300, which emerged as top sellers. The Xpander, in particular, was celebrated as the best-selling Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) of the year, with 24,178 units sold, according to the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (CAMPI). The boost in production at the Sta. Rosa plant allowed for an increased output of these models, with the Mirage and L300 selling 26,139 and 13,101 units, respectively.

MMPC’s growth is also attributed to its good marketing and promotional activities that successfully reached and attracted customers. The launch of the all-new Triton in January 2024 helped a lot in this growth, which was news to both new and loyal customers. Additionally, events like the MMPC 60th anniversary expo and the All-New Triton Go Beyond Limits tour across various locations in the Philippines helped to improve customer engagement and experience.

Takeshi Hara, the outgoing president & CEO of MMPC, mentioned the company’s customer-centric approach, aiming to provide a fulfilling car ownership experience. He credited the success to the positive response from customers, dealers, suppliers, and business partners, who have shown strong support for the Mitsubishi Motors brand.
