Nissan really served up a feast of four electric concepts in Beijing. At the Auto China 2024 event, themed “A new Nissan for a new era in China,” Nissan revealed four new energy vehicle (NEV) concepts.

Aside from this, Nissan also announced that it plans to launch a total of five new energy vehicles by the fiscal year 2026, which is one more than previously announced. 

Makoto Uchida, Nissan’s President and CEO, spoke about the company’s pledge to adapting to the Chinese market through their new business plan outlined in ‘The Arc‘. The strategy begins with the new energy vehicles revealed at the show and includes developing a different range of new models. Nissan’s goal with these new vehicles is to improve the driving experience for their customers in China.

Nissan debuts four innovative electric vehicle concepts at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show

Nissan really served up a feast of four electric concepts in Beijing. At the Auto China 2024 event, themed “A new Nissan for a new era in China,” Nissan revealed four new energy vehicle (NEV) concepts.

The company revealed two electric vehicles and two plug-in hybrids at the show, made with their local partner, Dong Feng. These vehicles are created to satisfy the needs of Chinese customers.

The Nissan Epoch Concept, an electric sedan, is made for car users who appreciate advanced technology and design that make daily life easier and more comfortable, including a virtual assistant capable of recognizing emotions.

The Nissan Epic Concept, an electric SUV, is fitted for those who are into free-spiritedness. It is made with autonomous driving and is suitable for both city and highway travel, which can supply power for various outdoor activities.

The Nissan Era Concept, a plug-in hybrid SUV, is more likely for the young professionals who view their car as a second living space, giving an interconnected entertainment system and seats made for comfort.

The Nissan Evo Concept, a plug-in hybrid sedan, is made for family use, with advanced driver support, safety functions, and a virtual assistant to improve the driving experience.

For racing enthusiasts and gamers, don’t worry; there are also cars for you! Nissan also displayed the Nissan Hyper Force and Nissan Hyper Punk concepts for the first time in China.

The Hyper Force is made for those who enjoy high-speed driving and gaming, which brings high performance with environmental considerations. The Hyper Punk, shown digitally, personalizes the driving environment by adjusting music and lighting based on the driver’s mood.

Through collaborations with leading tech companies, Nissan plans to introduce highly intelligent systems and AI-based services, with the goal of making the user experience in China and globally better.
