Jeep is adding another electric vehicle to its global lineup. Unlike the Avenger, which is only available in Europe, this electric crossover SUV will launch first in the United States and then expand to other markets worldwide.

The crossover SUV in question is the Wagoneer S, first unveiled earlier this year in concept form. Appearance-wise, the front end of the Wagoneer S is wide and imposing, featuring sleek, sharp lights integrated into the trademark Jeep seven-slot grille. A light bar wraps around the front end, further emphasizing the electric Jeep’s sleek body lines and sharp edges. It still has the muscular and boxy stance of Jeep’s SUV but with the addition of more modern styling giving it a unique and charismatic look.

As for the size, the Wagoneer S measures just 4,886 mm long, 2,123 mm wide, and 1,645 mm tall. In fact, the Wagoneer S is slightly smaller than the short-wheelbase Grand Cherokee when put side by side.

The Wagoneer S is powered by an electric motor that delivers an impressive 600 PS and 837 Nm of torque. This power is distributed to all four wheels, allowing the all-electric Jeep to accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 km/h. Equipped with a 100 kWh battery pack, the Wagoneer S offers a range of over 482 km and can be quickly recharged from 20 percent to 80 percent in just 23 minutes via DC fast charging.

As for the size, the Wagoneer S measures just 4,886 mm long, 2,123 mm wide, and 1,645 mm tall. In fact, the Wagoneer S is slightly smaller than the short-wheelbase Grand Cherokee when put side by side.

Jeep Wagoneer S Interior

The Wagoneer S comes equipped with 4×4 technology that enables it to tackle various terrains. The Selec-Terrain traction management system offers five distinct modes: Auto, Sport, Eco, Snow, and Sand. However, Jeep did not provide info on the Wagoneer S’ approach, breakover, departure angles, and off-road capability so it may not be a Jeep that you should take to remote and challenging areas.

Moving to the interior, the Wagoneer S has a sleek, technology-rich interior. The cabin boasts four screens, totaling 45 inches of display space: a 10.25-inch interactive passenger display, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and a dedicated screen for HVAC controls and other functions.

Notable features of the Wagoneer S include a 19-speaker McIntosh sound system with a 1,160-watt amplifier and a 12-inch subwoofer, LED ambient lighting with 64 color options, a dual-pane sunroof, premium synthetic leather seating, heated and ventilated seats in both rows and an array of advanced driver assistance technologies.

The Jeep Wagoneer will be available for sale in the United States in the second half of 2024 and will reach other markets later on. Jeep currently offers the Gladiator, Wrangler, and Grand Cherokee in the Philippines, hopefully, they can make room for the electric Wagoneer S for our market.
