This powertrain is coupled with transmission choices of a 7-speed dual-clutch (wet type) or a 6-speed manual, transitioning to an electronic column shifter from the traditional gear selector.

The G50 Plus is substantial in size, measuring 4,825mm in length, 1,825mm in width, 1,778mm in height, and featuring a 2,800mm wheelbase. The vehicle comes in several variants, with the STD and COM trims offering seating for eight passengers. In contrast, the LUX variant opts for a more luxurious setup with captain seats in the second row, accommodating seven passengers.
Design-wise, the G50 Plus sports a chrome grille, sleek LED daytime running lights, and headlights, although lower variants feature halogens. Additional exterior features include LED taillights, power-folding side mirrors, and a choice of 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, the top variant stands out with synthetic leather upholstery and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, enhancing comfort and style.

Safety is a priority in the G50 Plus, equipped with anti-lock brakes, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a reverse camera, rear parking sensors, a tire pressure monitoring system, and multiple airbags. The pricing for the MG G50 Plus starts at PHP 1,048,888 for the 1.5 MT STD variant, PHP 1,188,888 for the 1.5 DCT COM, and PHP 1,288,888 for the 1.5 DCT LUX.
