From January through June, Ford has sold a total of 14,460 vehicles. The Ford Ranger, in particular, saw a strong growth with a 29% increase in sales, reaching 6,872 units. The Ford Everest also performed well, with sales up by 20% from last year, totaling 4,536 units.
Other models contributing to Ford’s success include the Ford Territory, with 2,771 units sold, and the newly launched All-New Mustang and All-New Bronco, which together have surpassed 130 units in sales. These new models have really maintained and even strengthened Ford’s presence in the off-road and performance vehicle segment in the Philippines.
Mike Breen, managing director of Ford Philippines, expressed satisfaction with the sales uptick, attributing it to strong demand for their vehicles and the successful launch of new models.
“We are pleased with our sales performance for the first six months of the year driven by the continued demand for our best-selling Ford vehicles, with the addition of the All-New Mustang and All-New Bronco which were received warmly by our customers. We are excited to sustain the momentum through the next half of the year as we continue to enhance the Ford ownership experience.”
