The new EV is still a few years away from hitting the roads as Kia focuses first on launching the EV2, a mini car set to be priced below approximately P1.8M, around 2026. Kia aims to eventually offer an electric city car priced between P900k and P1.2M, though they acknowledge this is a hard challenge.
On the performance side, Kia is also planning to replace the Stinger with an electric model that could lead their performance lineup. This plan shows Kia’s commitment to not only making electric cars more accessible but also more thrilling. The new model would likely be more powerful than the current EV6 GT, which boasts 576 hp.
