With his new position as the president, HMPH plans to keep making car ownership easier and more accessible for Filipinos, while continuing to grow in the local market. The change in leadership follows two successful years under outgoing president Mr. Dongwook Lee, who has overseen HMPH since its launch in June 2022.

Under Mr. Lee’s rule, HMPH recorded a growth rate of 32.4 percent for 2024 and expanded its dealer network to 34 locations, with plans for further expansion and development in the coming months. Mr. Lee’s term included the launch of different Hyundai models and several customer-centric events, helping to establish Hyundai as a strong and imaginative automotive brand in the Philippines. HMPH expressed its gratitude to Mr. Lee for his successful leadership, which really helped the car brand maintain its reputation in the country.

Moving forward, HMPH, now under Mr. Son’s leadership, plans to continue growing its dealer network, provide new experiences for Filipino customers, and deliver good mobility options for the local market. With this new leadership, HMPH is set on building on the progress made over the past two years.

With the plans shared by Hyundai’s new leader, we can expect more advanced cars in the future. In the meantime, if you’re thinking of buying a Hyundai, check out their current lineup. Head to AutoDeal.com.ph to browse models and connect with a sales agent in just a few minutes.
