H1909006 Judgemental na Babae, Binigyan ng Leksyon! part2

The Nissan Frontier is the North American equivalent of the Navara in the Philippines. Much like the Navara, the Frontier is a mid-size pickup truck that offers all-around practicality and a decent bit of ruggedness for some hard labor.

At the 2024 SEMA show, though, Nissan spiced up its mid-size pickup truck by giving it a boost in power, an aggressive body kit, and a lower ride height. Dubbed the Frontier Tarmac Concept, this one-off truck is designed for style, performance, and drifting.

The truck was developed in partnership with Forsberg Racing, led by Formula Drift icon Chris Forsberg. Nissan and Forsberg retained the standard 3.8-liter V-6 engine but enhanced it with a water-cooled supercharger, a prototype NISMO carbon-fiber cold air intake, and a custom cat-back exhaust system. These modifications boost output by 130 horsepower and 161 Nm of torque, bringing it to a powerful 440 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, all delivered to the rear wheels.

To allow drivers an easier time to start and control their drifts, the Tarmac also features 15-inch floating two-piece rotors paired with the same brake calipers as the Z NISMO. The rear wheels are equipped with dual calipers—one for regular braking and another linked to a custom hydraulic hand brake specifically for drifting. As for tires, the Tarmac sports 275/40R-20 Yokohama Advan V107s up front and larger 315/35R-20s in the rear.

Nissan Frontier Tarmac Exterior

The exterior of the Frontier Tarmac is loaded with carbon fiber, including on the hood, fenders, roof cap, and tonneau cover. Inside, a carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel complements two front Recaro seats upholstered in a retro pattern. The truck sits on a custom NISMO suspension, featuring a four-to-six-inch lowering kit with adjustable coil-overs and remote reservoirs for a tailored ride height and enhanced handling as it slides through corners.

As it was built for the 2024 SEMA show, the Frontier Tarmac Concept will be an exclusive one-off truck. However, if you’re looking for inspiration on how to dress up your Nissan Navara, this concept is a good place to start.
