The new Dzire measures 3,995 mm in length, similar to the previous model, and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm. The new front design features angular LED headlights and a larger grille, giving it a more mature look than previous versions that leaned more on the Swift’s “cute” styling. The sedan also sports a boxier tail with integrated taillights and a small rear spoiler, adding a bolder touch.

The Dzire starts on 14-inch steel wheels in the base model, while higher trims get 15-inch alloys. Inside, the dashboard keeps the Swift’s general layout but adds some distinct touches like faux wood trim. All variants come with a 9-inch infotainment system compatible with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Higher-spec models offer more advanced features, including a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, automatic A/C, an electric sunroof, and Suzuki Connect features.

The Dzire provides 382 liters of trunk space, which is more room than the Swift offers. On the safety side, the Dzire received a 5-star rating from Global NCAP, making it the first Maruti Suzuki model to get this score. All versions come with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and pedestrian protection as standard.

The new Dzire runs on Suzuki’s Heartect platform, which is shared with the Swift. Under the hood, it has a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine with 80 hp for the gasoline version and 69 hp in the CNG version. Buyers can choose between a five-speed manual and a five-speed automatic transmission, both sending power to the front wheels.

The Suzuki Dzire is available in India with prices starting at about PHP 466,000 and going up to around PHP 695,000. It faces competition from other small sedans like the Honda Amaze, Hyundai Aura, and Tata Tigor, each offering different features and price points.

Compact and affordable sedans are still popular here, and Suzuki might just bring the updated Dzire to the Philippines.
