With the launch of the next-generation Santa Fe and the unveiling of the IONIQ 9, Hyundai is now turning its focus to another model in its lineup: the Palisade. As the Santa Fe’s larger sibling, the Palisade’s latest version promises to be quite extraordinary.

The next-gen Palisade showcases vertically stacked daytime running lights paired with headlights positioned closer to the vehicle’s center. It also features a full-length front LED light bar, reminiscent of the Santa Fe, while the massive grille sports a horizontal segmented pattern that accentuates the vehicle’s width. A silver trim flows seamlessly across the top of the windshield, extending along the doors to the D-pillar and roof rails for a cohesive design. At the rear, the vertically stacked lighting theme mirrors the front, and up to 21-inch wheels complete the striking look at all four corners.
The interior of the new Palisade takes on a more refined and upscale design, featuring an ovoid dashboard layout that thoughtfully retains physical controls. It includes dedicated tuning knobs and buttons for the sound system, along with similar switchgear for the HVAC system below.
Hyundai’s signature curved digital display is a centerpiece of the updated cabin, complemented by the brand’s sleek badgeless three-spoke steering wheel and a steering column-mounted electronic shifter. Additional conveniences include a handy shelf for the front passenger and a center console equipped with a wireless charging pad and multiple outlets for enhanced functionality. For maximum capacity, the front center console can be raised to enable a three-across seating arrangement in the front row.

Hyundai reports that the new Palisade features an extended wheelbase, though the exact increase over the current model’s 2,900 mm measurement remains unspecified. Coupled with its larger—though yet-to-be-revealed—exterior dimensions, the updated Palisade promises enhanced interior space. The benefit of the moveable center console that we mentioned before is that the Palisade offers seating configurations for seven or up to nine passengers. Pretty cool for those of us who miss AUVs here in the Philippines.
Powertrain options aren’t revealed just yet so we’ll have to wait until Hyundai reveals more information about that.
