A new electric sedan has arrived, and it’s the Mazda6e. Mazda has officially launched the Mazda6e, its latest electric vehicle, at the Brussels Motor Show 2025. The midsize sedan brings a fresh design, advanced electric powertrain, and high-tech features to the table.

The car comes with two battery options. The smaller 68.8 kWh battery can go up to 479 km on a single charge, while the larger 80 kWh battery offers a range of up to 552 km. Both batteries support fast charging. The smaller one takes 22 minutes to charge from 10% to 80%, and the larger battery charges in about 45 minutes. In terms of power, the 68.8 kWh model produces 255 hp and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The 80 kWh version has 241 hp and takes a little longer at 7.8 seconds. Both versions are rear-wheel drive, focusing on smooth handling and a comfortable drive.
The Mazda6e continues Mazda’s well-known Kodo design language. The exterior has clean lines, frameless door windows, and an active spoiler for better aerodynamics. Inside, the cabin is equipped with two digital screens: a 10.2-inch display for the driver and a 14.6-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system. There are also smart controls that respond to voice, touch, and gestures, adding convenience for drivers.

The new electric sedan is based on the Mazda EZ-6 platform, which was introduced in China last year. It’s the result of Mazda’s long-standing partnership with Changan Automobile, which merged Mazda’s principles with Changan’s expertise in electric vehicle technology. The Mazda6e is expected to go on sale in Europe during the summer of 2025, with plans for additional markets later.
With its useful range and updated features, the Mazda6e could be the EV you’ve been waiting for. Start your journey with Mazda through the Mazda Car Guide on AutoDeal.com.ph. You can also download the AutoDeal app on iOS and Android for an easy car-buying experience.
