Last Monday night, Ford Philippines hosted the 24th Henry Ford Awards, honoring the outstanding work of Filipino motoring journalists in the industry. Amid the awarding ceremonies, the company also took the opportunity to unveil two new additions to the Ranger and Everest models.
The additions in question are the Ford Ranger Sport Special Edition and the Everest Sport Special Edition variants. These new variants pack new aesthetic enhancements to Ford’s two best-selling models, taking the driving and ownership experience to a new level.

Starting with the Ranger Sport Special Edition, this variant is built on the standard Sport’s feature set, but adds distinctive touches such as a black grille, a bed-mounted long leg sports bar for cargo support, 18-inch asphalt black wheels with a matte finish, and an extra retractable cup holder inside, which according to Ford, were an awaited feature from many Ranger fans.

Starting with the Ranger Sport Special Edition, this variant is built on the standard Sport’s feature set, but adds distinctive touches such as a black grille, a bed-mounted long leg sports bar for cargo support, 18-inch asphalt black wheels with a matte finish, and an extra retractable cup holder inside, which according to Ford, were an awaited feature from many Ranger fans.
Shifting to the Everest Sport Special Edition, this variant elevates the SUV’s bold design even further. It comes equipped with a black roof and spoiler, black Everest lettering across the hood, and 20-inch black wheels with striking red accents.
Both variants retain the same powertrain, which is a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 168 hp and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The Everest Sport Special Edition is offered exclusively in a 4×2 configuration, while the Ranger Sport Special Edition is available in both 4×2 and 4×4 options.
Pricing for the 2025 Ford Everest Sport SE 4×2 AT is set at P2,194,000. The 2025 Ford Ranger Sport SE 4×2 AT is priced at P1,529,000, while the 4×4 AT variant comes in at P1,649,000.
