H1309004 Biyenan Inalila at Ginawang Katulong ang Manugang part2

Most cars get more expensive after a refresh, but that’s not really the case here. The 2026 Kia Sportage now has a new face and some updates, but the price didn’t go overboard.

The 2026 Kia Sportage just got a fresh look and more standard features, and as expected, there’s a small price increase. The updated Sportage now starts at $28,690, which is about P1.75M. That’s a $1,300 increase compared to the 2025 model. When you include Kia’s unchanged destination charge of $1,395, the total MSRP comes to $30,085 or around P1.8M.

This price gets you the Sportage LX with front-wheel drive, powered by a 2.5-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that makes 187 horsepower. Inside, you get two 12.3-inch digital displays, one for the driver and one for infotainment. Other standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and a full suite of driver-assist features, all of which come standard across the lineup.

Visually, Kia removed the old bracket-style running lights and “tiger face” design. Now, the 2026 Sportage features the brand’s “Opposites United” design language, with a larger grille and vertical lighting for a cleaner, more symmetrical front. The interior also follows the same clean, modern theme.

New face, more features, and still not too pricey? Kia seems to be playing it smart with the 2026 Sportage.

If you’re eyeing something with more features, the Sportage EX FWD starts at $31,885 or around P1.94M, just $1,000 more than last year. It adds heated front seats, a power tailgate, and blind-spot monitoring. Go higher and you get the Sportage SX, starting at $34,290 (about P2.08M), which includes a panoramic sunroof, Harman Kardon 8-speaker sound system, and more advanced driver aids.

While the price increase is minor, the real question is whether it’ll stay that way. Kia hasn’t confirmed if current prices already include the effect of new tariffs, but since the new models won’t arrive in showrooms until summer, the pricing likely already factors them in. While we’re still waiting for Kia’s official word, check out its full lineup at AutoDeal.com.ph.
