One is a 20.4 kWh battery for the Advanced model, and the other is a 36.6 kWh battery for the Premium version, which should offer a longer electric-only range. The eMAX 9 also supports Type 2 AC charging and CCS DC fast charging.

It looks like BYD is keeping the momentum going, as it might be preparing to launch another plug-in hybrid in the Philippines. After introducing the Sealion 5 as its smaller PHEV crossover, the brand now seems to be working on a bigger model for families.
