H1509001 SHORTFILM APAT part2

It looks like Hyundai’s star MPV is getting a little makeover.  A new teaser from Hyundai Indonesia gives us our first look at the upcoming facelift for the Stargazer, which is already being sold in the Philippines. While nothing official has been announced for our market just yet, the refreshed version could follow soon, especially with Hyundai updating models like the Creta earlier this year.

From the teaser, the Stargazer’s front now features a flatter hood, an even larger grille, and H-shaped LED lights replacing the old split setup. The bumper also carries a new trim that mirrors the shape of the Hyundai logo. At the back, the taillights are now slimmer and more squared off, while the license plate has been moved to the bumper. These changes give the Stargazer a more grown-up look, while still keeping the overall family-friendly feel.

While Hyundai hasn’t shown us the cabin yet, we can expect some upgrades inside too, likely following what we’ve seen in newer Hyundai models with better integrated screens and a more digital-focused layout. The updated Stargazer will still come with both six and seven-seater options. Hyundai also hinted that the suspension might be tweaked for roads with bumps and potholes, something that could be a good match for Philippine driving conditions.

So far, no major changes are expected under the hood, so it’ll likely keep the 1.5-liter gasoline engine with around 113 hp, paired with either a manual or CVT transmission. The Stargazer X, which comes with crossover-like styling and higher ground clearance, may also get the same design changes. The official launch will happen at the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show on July 24. And with how fast the Creta made its way to local showrooms after its own revamp, it won’t be a surprise if the updated Stargazer follows the same path.
